About Us
Dear parents/students/guardians,
Allow me to share a journey that began with a passion for chemistry and evolved into a commitment to nurturing young minds. After completing my M. Sc. from BHU in 1996, I embarked on a corporate career, working as a chemist at Asian Paints in Noida starting in 1996 and later as a quality control officer at Nerolac Paints until 2005. This decade in the corporate world, which also included tenures at Glaxo and Hindalco, provided me with valuable experience and a strong foundation.
However, my true calling lay in education. In 2005, I transitioned into teaching, a decision fueled by a desire to make a more direct impact. Simultaneously, I pursued my Ph. D. under the guidance of Dr. Meenakshi Singh at BHU, while also teaching chemistry part-time at Gurukul Academy and JBS tutorials here in Varanasi.
Following the submission of my thesis in 2008, I dedicated myself fully to teaching at Mastermind Classes until 2011. My journey continued with stints at CATJEE, Kota Point, and Apex tutorials, each experience enriching my understanding of effective pedagogy.
A significant turning point arrived in 2014 when I established my own coaching institute, ABHIGYAAN CLASSES, with the support of esteemed colleagues who shared my vision for quality education. We launched our endeavor on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, driven by a desire to offer a different model of coaching – one that prioritized individual attention and a reasonable fee structure over large, profit-driven batches. To this day, we maintain a strict limit of 25 students per batch.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of guiding numerous students on their academic journeys. I fondly recall teaching Mr. Kaustav Mandal (AIR 576, IIT JEE Advanced 2009-2011, B. Tech. IIT-Kharagpur) and Mr. Aghna Mukherjee (B. Tech. NIT-Durgapur, M. Tech. IIT-Chennai) during my time at Mastermind Classes while they resided at NTPC Tanda. I also had the pleasure of teaching Srijan Shailendra (B. Tech. in Design, IIT-Guwahati) in 2010-11.
Beyond these early successes, my time at CATJEE after 2011 saw the collective effort of our faculty yield over 20 IITians. The establishment of ABHIGYAAN CLASSES in 2014 marked a new chapter, allowing us to further cultivate talent.
Our students' achievements speak volumes about our approach. In 2016, Anji Pankhuri and Chaht Daulani both qualified for JEE MAINS and pursued their B. Tech. degrees at MMM University of Technology, Gorakhpur. In 2018, Krishnakant Pandey secured an impressive AIR of 6069 in IIT JEE Mains and went on to earn his B. Tech. from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai(Formerly known as UDCT, Mumbai. He is currently working as an Engineer at GAIL.
During my association with the synchronized batch of DPS Varanasi and Akash from 2017 to 2019, I had the distinct honor of teaching AKSHAT KAUSHIK, who achieved an outstanding AIR of 3 in NEET-2019 & AIR 1in KVPY-2019 in his first attempt and now completed his MBBS at AIIMS, New Delhi. His classmates, Mr. Ronak Wahal (MBBS, AIIMS-Gorakhpur) and Mr. Rajnish Kumar (MBBS, IMS-BHU), also qualified in their first attempts in the same year.
More recently, in 2021, Vidyadhar Tiwari secured an AIR of 9050 in IIT-JEE Advanced and is currently studying B. Tech. at IIT-BHU. In the same year, Varnica Hotwani from St. John’s Mahrauli qualified for JEE Mains and is pursuing a B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering at MNIT-Allahabad. In 2022, Dhruv Tiwari qualified for JEE Mains and joined MMM University of Technology, Gorakhpur, while Apoorva Tiwari qualified for NEET and is now at Government Medical College Basti. In 2023, Shreyansh Singh Sengar qualified for JEE Mains and joined MMM University of Technology, Gorakhpur.
Our success continued into 2024, with Ekta Dubey achieving a remarkable 98.7543491 percentile in the JEE (MAIN) April session, ultimately securing admission to the B. Tech. Civil Engineering program at IIT-BHU [IIT-JEE (Advanced) Roll No. 244065106 CRL 23460 & GEN EWS 3550]. This year, in 2025, Shambhav Ratna Pandey qualified IIT-JEE (Mains) with a score of 96.05, and Chinmay Joshi with a score of 94.89.
By the grace of God and the dedication of my team, we continue to provide quality education in both offline and online modes. I find immense satisfaction in the quiet dedication to the success of our students.
Thanking you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Dr. Paresh Kumar Singh Director, Abhigyaan Classes C-1, Brij Enclave, Varanasi9415372338 & 894 89 44999

LOYALITY ISN’T GREY. IT’S BLACK AND WHITE. YOU’RE EITHER LOYAL COMPLETELY OR NOT LOYAL AT ALL- THE GODFATHER, a 1972 American film.We concentrate with students from class-IX and we provide quality education in minimal fees. We try to embed hope in the brain of a student because we firmly believe in the given below quotation of famous American movie Shashwank Redemption. “Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” - Shawshank Redemption a 1982 American film which is highest rated movie of all time on IMDb.
Our Philosophy
We work with a philosophy based on the famous quotation of Bhagvad Gita narrated by maternal grandmother Smt. Sharda Singh of director sir and now this philosophyis in our genes.
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि।।2.47।।
To work alone you have the right, and not to the fruits. Do not be impelled by the fruits of work. Nor have attachment to inaction.
Now we are well established and constantly producing IItians and Medicos since last 6 years and we have a dedicated core team of IItians, NITians and NET qualified Ph.D. degree holders. With our unique teaching pedagogy, we have been able to help the students realize their dreams and get admission in to their desired institute for engineering or medical. The core pillars of our foundation are student-centric approach and feedback-driven mechanism.
